Hyperion won the 1932 Dewhurst Stakes and the Derby and St Leger in 1933.

By Gainsborough, Hyperion was the smallest Derby winner since Little Wonder in 1840 and was one of the Horses of the Century.

"Hyperion" is also the nom de plume of www.greatracehorses.net`s Editor Robert Bishop.

"Hyperion" was in Germany in Koln, Berlin and Frankfurt for the 2006 World Cup and is pictured above with the German coach Jurgen Klinsmann and the World Cup itself on 30 June in Berlin just before the Hosts beat Argentina in one of the games of the Tournament (Robert Bishop)
